When installing glass back splash do you grout between the counter and the tile or silicone?
A flexible joint is recommended between a splashback and bench top or counter because these are different structures and unless specifically designed and braced, will move differently. Even a tiny amount of movement will cause a crack in a grout that is not flexible. This is why silicon joints are often used at any corner junction of tiles or splashbacks.
