If it’s McFly we’re referring to, I can’t get too harsh because I share a house with his brother. I could point out that from the moment a cell decides it’s going to be the brain it can be considered to be growing and can be considered so until and, in most cases, beyond birth. Couldn’t tell you when this happens without looking. My guess would be six to eight weeks into the pregnancy. As I don’t know Martyn, I decline to answer the latter half of the question.
