When in my gradebook, I have noticed that the withdrawn students are in red. When will they be removed?
Students appear in red because they have been withdrawn. They will not disappear. Remember that you can determine the order of your students in the gradebook — so move the withdrawn students to the bottom of the list. From the main NCWISE screen, select a class. On the right, you will see your student’s names. Look for the S… column. This is the “Sequence” column. NCWISE orders the names 1st by this sequence number and then alphabetical order. Everyone normally has a sequence number of 0. This means that since everyone has the same number, it sorts them alphabetically. To put a student at the end of the list, simply change their sequence number to something other than 0 (100, for example). Click Save Sequence. That student will be placed at the bottom of the list.
