This is not uncommon, and most people have associated it with battery voltage drop during cranking. The stock battery in my bike and others I’ve talked to were never really great from day one. There have been “fixes” demonstrated from simply getting a new battery (Wesco makes one with a bit more capacity), to using a trickle charger, to putting a big-ass capacitor in your trunk!
