Ulead Photo Explorer automatically resizes large images so that they are less than 500 pixels maximum dimension and 100K bytes in size. Generally images that are viewed on the Web or on screen do not need to be larger than this, and larger images would take a very long time to upload on slower connection like dial-up modems. If you want to override the automatic settings it is easy to do. Select the Configure Internet Connection setting under the Internet menu. Then select the Transfer Options tab. Then you can enter the settings you prefer, or prevent the re-sizing altogether. Bear in mind there is a limit to the size of images that can be accepted by iMira.
