When i use my messenger and buzz someone it makes a awfull sound?
CONTROLLING ALERTS&SOUNDS IN YAHOO! MESSENGER I have custom sounds that I have found online that I use as sound alerts in Yahoo Messenger. I created a folder on my computer that I named Sound Alerts and in it I put .wav files (which are the format used by messengers (WLM, Skype, Y!M etc) for sound files. Then using Alerts&Sounds in Preferences, I chose the type of action that I wanted an alert for and then browsed to where I have it saved on my computer. Of course you could just decide to use one of the ones Yahoo! provides if you want but I wanted something different. Just a word of warning, be sure to scan using anti-virus and anti-spyware programs anything you download including sound files just to be sure they are not bundled with adware or spyware or worse.
