When I use an electronic thermometer, it does not change its reading after the beep, why does the Accuflex Pro?

Most electronic thermometers use predictive technology to provide a fast reading using an algorithm to calculate the final reading based on the initial temperatures detected. For that reason, they are not capable of reading after their final calculation is completed and the reading is displayed, even if the probe comes in contact with a higher temperature. Accuflex Pro uses a sensor which provides “real” temperature values, and will react if a higher temperature is detected (mimicking a mercurial thermometer).
