This is relatively common after installing RIM’s latest desktop and device software. Basically, the Blackberry needs to be reset. The easiest way to fix this is to turn off your Blackberry. Remove the battery for approximately 30 seconds. Reinstall the battery and restart your Blackberry. That usually fixes this issue 80-90% of the time. It will take you less than a minute to do :-).
