When I try to run LimeWire, I get an error saying “java.lang.classnotfoundexception:a.a.a.b.main.” Is there anything I can do to solve the problem?
You should be able to solve this by completely uninstalling LimeWire and performing a fresh reinstall. On Windows, you can uninstall LimeWire by going to the Start>>Settings>>Control Panel window and then selecting “Add/Remove Programs.” Double click on the LimeWire icon to begin uninstallation, and then follow the steps in the uninstaller. If there is more than one version of LimeWire listed, uninstall all of them. On other platforms, there is a LimeWire uninstaller in the directory where you installed LimeWire. Alternatively, you can also delete all of the files in the directory where you installed LimeWire, but just take care that you don’t delete any downloaded files that you may want to save. Once you have removed LimeWire from your system, download the new version from our web site and install it. LimeWire should work correctly the next time you go to run it.
