Usually, you need to use CD-quality wav files. To record in this format, in the Sound format selection dialog, select CD Quality from the Named formats (presets) drop-down list. The recording format will be set to PCM 44.1KHz 16bit Stereo. If you are using software mode, you must also check Convert using “Recording parameters” specified below. To convert an existing file: open it in Total Recorder and use Save As. Then use Change and select CD Quality from the Named formats (presets) drop-down list. The recording format will be set to PCM 44.1KHz 16bit Stereo.
