When I try to open an object, I get the message “illegal inode number specified” and cannot access the object. What can I do to open the objects inside my project file?
This problem indicates that something is scrambled inside your RVC file, and you cannot access the contents of the file. In order to resolve this problem, first make a duplicate copy of the file (in case everything fails). Then use Support / Maintenance / Recover Project File.. utility, and select the original file. The program will output a new RVC file in which the problems are solved. In case this process does not solve your problems (or you loose some valuable data in the file), contact MicroImages technical support with the original file copy that has the initial problem.
