When I try to modify the administrative contact, technical contact or registrant information in my account, the information changes for all the domains. How can I prevent this?

Based on the structure of CIRA’s system, all domains within a registrant record must have the same registrant details, administrative contact and technical contact. If you want to change the contact details for just one domain, you are required to set up a separate registrant with new contact details and transfer the domain to the new registrant. CIRA charges fees for such transfers and these fees are passed on to the Registrant by Webnames.ca.
