When I try to launch OUI to do a NEW or ACTION online pass, I end up having to start my dialer separately. Why isn OUI starting the dialer?

OUI will not be able to launch the Windows 95 dialer for you automatically since OUI is a 16-bit application and the Windows 95 dialer was not designed by Microsoft to support 16 bit programs. We did build support into OUI so that it will bring up the ‘Connect To’ dialog box for the Windows 95 dialer when you select the NEW or ACTION button. Please check your dialer settings from the Windows Control Panel | Internet icon. Make sure that you have the Use AutoDial checkbox selected and that your preferred connection is selected in the drop down list in the Settings section. OUI will not be able to disconnect the Windows 95 dialer when it is finished. You may want to change the timer settings that the Windows 95 dialer uses so that it disconnects after a short period of time. Otherwise, you will need to manually disconnect the online session by clicking on the ‘Disconnect’ button. Windows98 note: Microsoft fixed the deficiency in Win95 referred to above. Windows98 will allow OUI to launch
