When I try to deploy routes, GTT files, or address table files from SGM, why does TFTP fail or timeout?

There are three primary causes for TFTP failure or timeout errors: •You may not have enabled TFTP on your server, which will cause a timeout error. For details, see the “Setting Up TFTP on Your Server” section on page 3-51. •You may have specified your tftp root directory (by default, /tftpboot) within the tftp path, which is not necessary and will cause TFTP to fail. For details on specifying the correct path, see the following sections: –sgm atbldir, page C-9 –sgm gttdir, page C-33 –sgm routedir, page C-64 •If the staging directory (created using the commands above) does not have write permissions for the SGM server processes, the TFTP will fail.
