When you create a new mail with High Impact eMail and attempt to send it from a Microsoft Office program such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or any program that supports the Simple Messaging Applications Program Interface (MAPI) transport, it may give you the following error message: “This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor”. This message will come up if you have Microsoft Outlook’s Personal Folders Backup Utility feature installed in your Outlook and you attempted to create a new mail with High Impact eMail without running Outlook. To avoid seeing this message, create new mails with High Impact eMail only after starting Outlook or uninstall the Microsoft Outlook Personal Folders Backup utility.
