When i try to automate the knobs on the NN-XTs remote panel nothing will be recorded. Why does this happen?
You’r right. Only the knobs on the global panel can be recorded. You can however assign various functions to the mod wheel. The NN-XT’s remote panel is more made to set fixed controls for the seperate samples of a multisample patch where the controls of each sample don’t have to be changed. If you want to record a sample’s own settings it’s best to use the NN-19 for this.
