When I try and connect to ESO the game either hangs or I receive the error message “Can not connect to ESO”, what should I do?

1. First simply reboot your computer and network hard and try again to connect. 2. Software firewall such as Norton and ZoneAlarm will need to be opened up so that AOE3.exe can connect to the internet. You can also disable them before you test playing the game to see if this solves the problem. If it does you may want to manually configure your firewall, update its software, or possibly even try a different firewall package.
