No. Most likely when you were trying to snap it around the tomato or when you slid the clip on you pulled down on the tomato not realizing it, and caused it to break. Just snap it on to another young cherry tomato. There’s usually lots of them on a plant. 7) Some cherry tomatoes don’t appear to get big enough to be shaped. As a grower you know that there are many factors that can go into how big a vegetable grows. One cherry tomato on the same plant can be a different size than another on the same fruit stem. We recommend selecting the tomatoes from the middle of the stem to put Snap ‘n ShapeTM on.
