When I torque my cap to 25 in-lbs., I noticed that after a few days that if I remove the cap the removal torque is only 15 in-lbs. What happened and do I need to retorque?

When I torque my cap to 25 in-lbs., I noticed that after a few days that if I remove the cap the removal torque is only 15 in-lbs. What happened and do I need to retorque?

All Hedwin torque recommendations accommodate the loss of some initial torque. The application torque will always exceed removal torque but you can rest assured that using our specified torque levels will insure good performance during subsequent shipment.
