When I start the TeleType GPS application on my Desktop computer I get a VCOMM error. Whats wrong?
Your computer is locking up the serial port (which TeleType GPS is attempting to access). Remedy: Hold Shift Key while launching the TeleType GPS software. This will allow you to activate the TeleType GPS program in “Safe Mode” which denies access to the serial port. You will not be able to use a GPS receiver when operating in this mode.
