When I start the Purple Lounge software, the screen with “Checking Versions” appears but nothing else happens. Why?
The most likely answer is that there is firewall software present on the computer and this is preventing the software from loading the game. Please check any firewall software and ensure it is allowing the software to access the internet. In particular please ensure ports 1980 – 2002 are not blocked or closed as a result of the firewall or your ISP.
