• Ensure that you are using an iPod which was formatted using a Windows version of iTunes. MediaWidget cannot currently read Mac formatted iPods. If you think you have a Mac formatted iPod, it will be necessary to reformat in order for MediaWidget to be able to read it. • Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed. To be safe, we generally recommend reinstalling iTunes from http://www.itunes.com if you are having problems. • Close all applications and connect your iPod. If iTunes opens when you connect your iPod, close it. Then open MediaWidget. • Sometimes the automated iPod configuration does not work. In these cases it is necessary to manually make the needed change. To do this, start iTunes and connect your iPod. In the options for your iPod, make sure that “Enable Disk Access” is checked. Doing this will ensure that MediaWidget can access your iPod. • If you are not doing so already, use a USB connection when connecting your iPod to your PC.
