When I start an application (such as Netscape Navigator) it starts to load, but it quits with a message: “An error of Type 1” occured. What can I do?
An error of Type 1 is a dsBusError. Please check to see if it is one specific site that is causing a Type 1 error, or all sites. When the Web page starts to load, hit the STOP button at the top. Try another Web page, such as www.jps.net or www.yahoo.com. If the problem occurs on just one site, there may be an issue with Java and the Netscape version you are running. Typically, Type 1 errors can be fixed by resetting the connection software and running Disk First Aid.
