When I sign in to myBama, I get a message “Loading, please wait,” but then I never get the myBama screen. Why?
For security purposes, myBama and many other Web applications require that you arrive at a particular page from a certain referring page. However, some “privacy” applications allow the referrer to be hidden. If this setting is turned on, myBama will not load. A few of the common programs are: • Norton Personal Firewall (part of Norton Internet Security) • Zone Alarm: In the Privacy Settings, under Cookie Control, click Custom, then uncheck “Remove Private Header Information” • Mozilla-based browsers: enter the address “about:config” and scroll to the preference named network.http.sendRefererHeader. Set it to 1 or 2.
