When I search for Target Instances between two dates, the list of results contains instances whose Harvest Date doesn match the search. Why is that?

This situation arises because the form is used to search for Target Instances based on their scheduled start date, but the Harvest Date that is displayed is the actual start date. The two start dates can be different for a Target Instance if the harvest was manually launched (with the ?harvest now? button) before its scheduled start time, or if the instance could not be run at its scheduled time and had to be Queued instead. My Target Instance that is stuck in the Running state: it says it is Running, but the Run Time and Data Downloaded figures don’t increase, and the Harvester Configuration says no jobs are running. What is going on? This unfortunate situation can arise when a Harvest Agent is stopped (or crashes) during a harvest. When the Harvest Agent is restarted, it does not know anything about the job it was previously running. However, the WCT Scheduler does not know the harvest has been interrupted, and assumes it is still Running. Since the Harvest Agent never reports that t
