When I search for a parcel, road, address or island, why doesnt the map zoom to the feature I searched for?
When you search for a feature, the items that meet your search criteria will be listed under the results tab and will be highlighted on the map. To zoom to a feature, right click on the item of choice and choose Zoom to. If multiple items are found, you can zoom to the extent of all the items by right clicking on the second tier of the results list that describes the category of features you searched for, such as Shorelines, Roads, Buildings, or Tax Parcels. By right clicking and choosing Zoom To Selected Features on Shorelines, Roads, etc., the map will zoom to show all features found for that category of data.
