When I save a local file to my Onfolio collection, am I saving a copy of the file? When I edit the captured file will the changes be reflected in the original file on my file system?
When you capture a local file, you are capturing a copy of the file. Any changes you make to the captured item will not be reflected in the copy on your file system. Note that you can make changes to the copy in Onfolio that will be saved and be reflected in your captured copy. To do this, right-click on the item and choose “Open”. Note: Onfolio 2.0 allows you to save a local file either as a copy of the file in your collection or as a shortcut to the file on disk. If you choose to save it as a shortcut, then any changes you make to the file via Onfolio will be reflected in the original file on disk.
