Yes, IE will be installed with windows. You can then upgrade it to the latest version, which you should do right away. You will be able to re-install ms word as well. If the key does not work you have to call Microsoft and get them to re-activate it. Also make sure you backup all of your documents and other data first. Another good idea is to download all of the latest drivers for your hardware from the manufacturer’s websites and save them to re-install after Windows.
