When i plug my canon md225 video camera into computer nothing happens.?
It might need software installed, usually it comes on a CD with electronic devices. If not, go to start, my computer, then look to see if the device is connected. If nothing, check the battery/power on the camera. If it’s on, then sometimes you’ll get a menu asking you if you want to connect to the computer. Lastly, you might have a setting in your PC that does not automatically allow hardware to link up. Go to start, and then control panel to check your settings/connections to hardware.
Maybe you are using the usb terminal of your camcorder. to transfer videos from your camcorder you be requiring a firewire card for your pc and firewire cable for you cam. If you have this things then your pc will automatically detect your cam and will ask if you want to render your videos using windows movie maker.
