When I plug a Digigram sound card into my brand new Compaq/HP desktop, the embedded audio device is disabled. Whats wrong ?

On certain recent HP/Compaq models (EVO – Presario), the embedded audio interface is disabled as soon as another sound card is inserted into the PCI slot. This behavior is intentional. For the time being, it has been noticed on Compaq EVO D530C or Compaq Presario.
