These include: Classified ads, which can last up to 45 days, or only 7 days if posted in high-traffic cities including Boston, Chicago, LA, New York, Portland and a few others. Resume ads, which usually post for between 30-45 days. Job ads, which like resume ads last for 30-45 days. Gig ads, again, post for 30-45 days. You can even post events on Craigslist. These posts will usually stay online until the day of your event or the day before your event. Classified ads usually post for the shortest time because people sell their products or delete their ad to repost it in a new category, or to keep it listed in the top ranks of craigslist.
