When I open the template I get a message that starts “run-time error…” Whats going on?
You opened the template itself instead of a new document based on the template. The message occurs because the macros in the template do some handling of the events that are fired when a document based on the template is created, or an existing one is opened. These handlers don’t behave normally if you actually open the template file, hence the error message.
