Mapedit doesn’t play very well with some out of date graphics card drivers. For some reason, one or two legitimate things that Mapedit does are often accidentally left out or improperly supported in graphics card drivers. Get the latest driver for your graphics card from your site of your card’s manufacturer and install it. This clears up the problem for all of the users who have encountered it and followed this procedure.
