When I open a project on my SGI, some files appear to have been corrupted or are missing. What is the problem?
The tar utility on SGI has a limit on the length of the base file names (99 characters) and on the length of the full file name including the path (255 characters). If you created a project on another architecture and the names or paths are very long, the SGI tar utility will not be able to handle your project correctly.
