When I migrate programs and the N2O program selection screen displays the message “REPLACE” next to a program I am migrating, does this mean that N2O will replace the object code for that program?
N2O allows the migration of both source code and object code. If the type of code being migrated (source or object) exists in the target environment, N2O will display the “REPLACE” message to indicate that code will be replaced during the migration. If both source and object code are to be migrated, but only source exists at the target, the message field will show “REPLACE”, even though the object code is being added rather than replaced.
