When I load CoolFig (or Zing or HotFig) I get the message “zsock.ocx” not registered?
CoolFig (ZING and HotFig) all use a ZyTrax supplied ActiveX control called zsock.ocx which is installed in the system32 directory of your PC. If you cannot find this control in the system32 directory, re-install any of the ZyTrax supplied utilities. If the control is present it may not have registered correctly of you may have had registry problems and it has become unregistered. To register the control select run from the start bar and enter the command regsvr32 /v zsock.ocx (without the quotation marks). If the operation is successful the message DllSelfRegister zsock.ocx succeeded will appear.
