When I installed the new GroupWise client the installation process reported missing files. Did the new GroupWise client install properly?
• Probably Not. Some users installing the new GroupWise client have experienced unusual events. The most common anomalies include error messages about missing files and installations that do not complete. If you experience a problem of this nature during your GroupWise client installation follow this procedure: • Complete the installation process if possible. If you cannot complete the installation process press the cntrl/alt/del key to display the task list and end the installation process from the task window. • After you exit the installation process use the Windows add/remove software utility to uninstall the GroupWise client. • After the client has been removed repeat the installation process. On the second attempt the client should install properly. If you should experience further difficulties installing the client please contact your GroupWise administrator or the Help Desk.
