When I install XMOne, I get a warning that it is an “Untrusted Application”. What does this mean?
“Trust” of a downloaded application is an endorsement by a cell phone manufacturer or carrier that the application is safe to install on a phone. This is to keep the user safe when downloading a program from an unknown source. However, as XMOne is offered as a service for the Laurier OneCard, in partnership with the OneCard Office, you can rest assured that XMOne is safe to install on your phone. Please be advised that Xtreme Mobility is constantly working with mobile carriers, manufacturers, and industry standards groups in order to obtain “Trusted” status for XMOne on more phones. However, given the number of different phones that we support, it will be some time before all of the phones accept XMOne as “Trusted”.
