SOLUTION: Downloading the Shockwave Uninstaller You need to uninstall any prior version of Shockwave before installing a new version. To do this, download the Shockwave Uninstaller CLICK HERE Uninstall Shockwave Version 10.0 cannot be uninstalled using the Uninstaller – you MUST use the “Add/Remove Programs” utility in the “Control Panel” on your “START” menu to uninstall “Macromedia Shockwave”. NOTE – If you have BOTH version 8.0 and 10.0 on your computer, they will appear differently in the “Add/Remove Programs” utility. Version 8.0 will be labeled “Shockwave” and Version 10.0 will be labeled “Macromedia Shockwave” Downloading the Shockwave Installer Make sure you have uninstalled any previous versions before installing a new Shockwave.
