It’s possible that the object is not set to be placed at Meigs Field as the tutorial suggests. It may be placed at an in Minnesota (where the author lives!). When running Flight Simulator go to ‘Crystal Airport’ (KMIC) in Minnesota to find the watertower or you can skip ahead in the tutorials and find out how to adjust the location of the objects in FS and then try to position it at Meigs yourself – or a hometown airport if you like.
