When I go to install TaxVision there are multiple installation options. Which one is right for me?
• We have included installation instructions for a Stand Alone setup, Network Server setup, Network Workstation setup, and Workstation And Server setup. Read the descriptions below to select the appropriate installation(s) for your situation. • Stand Alone – Installs all of the program files on your computer. Other people in your office will not have access to your data. • Server Install – Allows you to install the program on a server computer. If you install using this option, the program will not run from the server, but from each individual workstation. • Workstation Install – Must be installed AFTER installing the program on the server. With a workstation setup in your office everyone will have access to the same data on the server. • Workstation And Server Install – Allows you to install the program with all the server components on one computer and also run the program on the same computer. This type of setup will usually be used in a peer-to-peer network situation.
