When I double click the provided .cw2c password file I receive an unknown file extension message. What should I do?
Please verify that you have the Codeware Key Update Utility installed (Start > Programs > Codeware > Key Update Utility). If you need to install the utility, you can download it from http://codeware.com/support/downloads/KeyUpdateSetup.exe. Detailed installation instructions are available in FAQ 1331. The installation of this utility registers the new .cw2v extension in Windows. For some users this registration might fail (e.g. user permissions, security software, group policy).
