When I create a new CE-Secure Vault, I notice that there is a gauge type arrangement that tells me the relative strength of the pass phrase I have chosen. What is this all about?
The stronger your pass phrase, the more difficult, if not impossible, it becomes to break your pass phrase. The strength gauge reflects security parameters regarding how strong your pass phrase is. Clicking on the “What’s This?” button on that screen gives you access to some very good information concerning what constitutes a strong pass phrase. There is also a link to a web page with even more information on pass phrases. Remember, the stronger your pass phrase, the safer your data. Just make sure it is something you can remember!
