When I connected my new VCR, theres a snowy picture and I cant bring up a menu. What should I do?
All new VCRs are pre-programmed with the output channel set to channel 3. First, make sure that the TV set is set to channel 3. Also, make sure that you are tuning the TV SET to channel 3, and not the cable box. If you are using a VCR to Cable Box to TV setup, make sure the cable box is tuned to channel 3 and the TV is set to the output channel of the cable box. Once you have confirmed that the TV is on the correct output channel, but you are still getting a snowy picture, check the connections. Make sure the cable or cable box is connected to “In from antenna” and the “Out to TV” jack is connected to the TV.
