When I click to send a fax from eFax messenger it gives the message “Efax messenger could not validate, please make sure you are connected to the internet” – What do I do?
Solution: Disable firewall temporarily, open efax messenger, goto Help, register messenger. Click on “Check for account updates” It should then come up “Your account has now been validated” Windows XP Log on as a user that is a member of the Administrators group. Open the Network Connections folder, right click the desired connection, and then click Properties. Click the Advanced tab, and remove the check from Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet. Click Yes to the dialog windows that asks you to confirm your decision to disable the firewall.
