This is a known issue with ArrayCalc V5.2.6 running on Apple computers. It was fixed with ArrayCalc V5.2.10. I cannot open an ArrayCalc project file (.dbac) on my Windows computer if it was sent to me by email from an Apple Computer This is a known issue with ArrayCalc project files sent with AppleMail via an AOL Server. Unfortunately, these servers add a new line at the end of the ArrayCalc project file (.dbac) including “=” (without quotation marks). This corrupts the ArrayCalc project file. Easiest workaround: Zip the ArrayCalc project file on the Apple computer before sending it. Another workaround: Open the ArrayCalc project file (.dbac) in a text editor and delete the line with “=” at the end of the file. The last line should just be “” (without quotation marks). Save the file and try to open it again with ArrayCalc.
