When I charged my Z-Xtreme battery for the first time, it finished within 1 hour. Is that normal?
The Z-Xtreme battery should take about 4 hours to charge. A new battery may indicate to the charger that it is full but this may not be accurate. A new lithium ion battery needs be conditioned -or calibrated so it can communicate accurate capacity information to the charger. Calibration is done by the charger when the “calibrate” button is pressed. It should take approximately 12 hours. Calibration should be done after every 10-15 discharges or after the battery has not been used for a long period of time.
