When I burn a music CD, I only see track numbers as the files on the CD. Can I burn the song titles to the CD in place of the track numbers?

If you burn an Audio CD using a programme like Nero Burning ROM, even if you enable CD-Text and put track titles and artist names for each of the tracks, Windows will always report CD Track 1, Track 2, Track 3… etc. To display the tracknames, you either need a piece of CD player software that supports reading CD-Text from the disc (there’s freeware CD player software available from the web that can do this) or you can buy some portable players, hifi and separates CD player units that will read the CD-Text from the disc and display it on the screen. Philips standalone audio CD writers do this as standard, for example.
