When I attempted to request my HescPIN User ID and PIN, I was told that I have entered invalid data, what do I do now?
To request a User ID and PIN, you will be requested to provide identifying information. We attempt to match this information against information provided to us from the United States Department of Education and if this identity validation fails, we will attempt to match with a credit service bureau. If the information you provide does not match either third party providers, you will receive a message that indicates that we could not find a match to the data provided. You will not be able to create a HescPIN User ID or PIN. If any of the information is not in the correct format, you will receive a message that indicates you have entered invalid data.
