When I attempt to drop a block into a quilt, I get the message: “File not same type as patch clicked on – Quilt Pro can use it here”. What is wrong?

A.20 The error is caused by clicking the Close button ( the X button) to close the window then saving the block when prompted by the program. We just found this error and we are working to correct it. In the meantime, always use File/Save (or Save As) menu before attempting to close the window. Once the block is saved, you may close. Here is what to do to recover the blocks that generate this error message: • Open the original block. • Go to Edit menu and choose Select All. • Go to Edit menu and choose Copy. • Then click on the File-New-Block menu. You will get a new blank window. • Click on Edit and choose Paste. The block will appear in the new window. • Go to File menu and click on Save As and give the block a new name. • Close the block and try to put this new block into your quilt. It should work fine.
